That’s what inspired Mike and Margaret Fultz to create Stops the Sting™ in 2004. After learning about the widespread problems with Fire Ants in the United States (over 20 million people suffer from the painful stings of these insects alone each year) and the health problems they create, we made it our mission to develop a first aid ointment to help those suffering from any insect sting or bite.

After working with several laboratories and chemists, and many field tests, Stops the Sting™ was created.
